MAY'S LICK  Irvin Samuel Jones, 78, of Maysville passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  He was a retired bulldozer operator.
Mr. Jones was born in Fleming County on February 26, 1935 son of the late Melvin Daniel & Anna Dugan Jones.  He was a member of Lewisburg Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Anna Young Jones.  A daughter, Andrea Lynn Jones of Lexington.  Four step sons, Robert P. Emmons of Berea, Mark W. Emmons , Gary D. (Kathy) Emmons and Noel Anthony Emmons all of Maysville; six grandchildren, Brittana Turner, Amari Jones, Samuel Jones, Tierra Jones, Kalyn Emmons and Coty Emmons; A brother, Eugene (Dorothy) Jones of Maysville, Ruth Ann (Douglas) Brown of Maysville, Ruby (Bob) Gilpin of Cincinnati and Mildred Jones Downing of North Carolina.  Several nieces & nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barbara Joy Jones and a nephew, Danny (Sherri) Jones.
Services will be conducted at Noon on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery on Pea Ridge, Fleming County.  Visitation 10 A.M. until Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials suggested to Mt.
