Irvine Ray White, 89, of Maysville passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  Ray was born in Mason County on March 31,1935 son of the late George & Ruby Christine Ashcraft White.  He was a retired farmer.  He enjoyed his time being around the Dinner Bell Restaurant,  and the Post Office in May's Lick and was a U. K. basketball fan that was notorious for fussing at the referees.

Survivors include two sons Clinton Ray White and Danny White of Maysville; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grand- children and one great-great granddaughter; a brother, Harland Glenn "Mickey" White.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Tommy White, Jerry White, and Frankie White,: two sisters, Roberta Shepherd and Joanie Orme.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Bro. Michael Ulrich officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery..  Visitation will be from 11A.M. until 1 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
