IVAN D. "TUBBY" ADAMSON, 69, of Lewisburg died unexpectedley Monday, March 22, 2010 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was a retired mechanic and he and his brother Donald "Duggie" Adamson operated Duggie's Service Station on U.S. 68 for 24 years. He was born in Robertson County on September 24, 1940 son of the late Ivan J. Adamson and Ruth Adamson Burns. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons, Robert J. Adamson of Lewisburg and Jason (Candice) Adamson of Ewing. 3 grandchildren Sydney, Carley and John David Adamson. 8 brothers & sisters, Donald "Duggie" (Karen) Adamson of Maysville, Mary (David) Harney of Dayton, OH, Carol (Joe) Rudy of Prestonsburg, Toddy (Tony) Dugan of Maysville, Rev. Johnny (Connie) Adamson of Stanford, KY, Cheryl (Bob) Tuel of Sardis, Duane (Lori) Adamson of Akins, S.C. and Debbie (Bill) Clark of Winchester, KY and an X wife Pam Adamson. He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Wagoner and a brother Russell Glenn Adamson.
Services 1 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Earl Clay Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation 6-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
