Jackson Bennett Jr.,67, of Maysville passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1958, in Maysville to Jackson “Big Jack” Bennett Sr. and Carol Yates Bennett.

Jackson was extremely skilled with concrete. He worked as a concrete finisher and gained a reputation as the best in his field. He had a genuine love for people and was strongly devoted to his family. Jackson always enjoyed a good fishing trip and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers football fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Bennett; mother, Carol Yates Bennett; his daughters, Crystal White, Tia Y (Ja’Rae) Miles, Tori M. Bennett; son, Jackson Bennett III; grandchildren, Ja’Von A. Miles, Jalen A. Miles, Lezerriona K. Bennett, Tia A. Miles, Tori A. Miles, Nakhia Fox, Dmitri M. White; great-granddaughter, Ny’Ava A. Bennett; siblings; Valerie Bennett Jones, Anthony Bennett, David (Brenda) Bennett, Kirby (Lisa) Bennett, Janae Turner and several nieces, nephews and close friends. Jackson also leaves behind a brother-in-law, who he raised like a son, Gerald Gibbs.

Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his father, Jackson Bennett Sr.; uncle, John A. Bennett and one brother-in-law, Isaac Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the May’s Lick Baptist Church with Rev. Claude Commodore officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
