MAYSVILLE Jackson "Big Jack" Bennett, Sr., 82, well known and respected resident of Maysville passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  Mr. Bennett was born in Maysville on March 8, 1935 to the late John & Stella Jackson Bennett.  He was a graduate of the Fee High School, and was a retired cement finisher with the Brown County Construction Company, and a member of the Scott United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, John A. Bennett.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mrs. Carol Yates Bennet, his children; Valerie (Isaac) Bennett Jones and Anthony Bennett of Maysville, David (Brenda) Bennett of Aberdeen, Kirby (Lisa) Bennett, Jackson (Paula) Bennet, Jr. and Janae Turner of Maysville, his sister; Peggy (Charles) Davis of Maysville, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with the Rev. James Turley officiating.  Interment will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends from 11 AM–12:45 PM on Monday at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Scott United Methodist Church (C/O Marilyn Commodore, PO Box 135, Maysville, KY 41056).
