MAYS LICK   James Yates "Jimmy" Crawford, 71, of Flemingsburg died unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at Fleming County Hospital. He was farm manager for Eldon Ginn Farms and was a retired truck driver.
Jimmy was born in May's Lick on December 2, 1940 son of the Robert Yates and Tillie Worthington Crawford. He was a member of May's Lick Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Lytle Crawford.  A son Jeff, and a daughter Sherri and 3 grandchildren, Yates, Katie and Owen Crawford.  A sister Lillian Black of Texas also survives.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty Lou Wright.
Graveside rites will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in the May's Lick Cemetery with Rev. Norman Wasson officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Terry Lytle, Michael Burke, Virgil Harding,  Elden Ginn, Rick Lowe, Jack Anderson, Gerald Woods and John L. Dodge.  Honorary pallbearers will be Yates and Owens Crawford, Keith Lytle, Tony and Robert Owens Leet.  Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to May's Lick Cemetery Fund,  5043 Main St. May's Lick,  KY  41055.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
