James Edward "Jimmy" Boyd, 78, of Maysville passed away on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.  Jim was born in Maysville on July 10,1944 son of the late James C. & Frances Burns Boyd.  He was retired employee of Emerson Power Transmission and was of Christian Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Stella Franklin Boyd; 7 children, Shawn Boyd, Tori Boyd, James Lamont (Myrissa) Boyd, Keith Boyd, Darcia (Rodney) Boyd, Sherri Boyd and Sherman Boyd; 3 granddaughters, Arabella, Sharon, and Shannon; 5 brothers, John Boyd, Charles Boyd, Morris Boyd, Bruce Boyd and Emmitt Boyd; 4 sisters, Sarah E. Davenport, Frances Boyd, Wilma Cartwell and Margaret Cole.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Albert Boyd and William Boyd.

Memorial services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Crosspoint Community Church in Maysville with Chad Current officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 3 on Saturday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
