MAYS LICK  James Richard "Dickie" Rudd, 53, of Maysville died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at U.K Healthcare in Lexington.  He was a carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Dickie was born in Maysville on December 10, 1958 son of James C. & Mary Lang Rudd of Maysville. He was a member of Haven's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors other than his parents are four children; Christina L. Johnson of Texas; Anton Brooks of Maysville; O'Megga Phipps of Wallingford, KY and James R. Phipps III of Mt. Orab, OH.  9 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Tammy Hunt of Maysville and Annetta "Sissy" Rudd of Lexington and several nieces & nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jeff Rudd and Conrad Rudd.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Gardy Jones officiating.  Interment will be private.  Visitation 2 P.M. until the hour of the service.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
