MAYS LICK   Jan Loney PhD, 76, of Maysville died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.  She was a native of Altadena, CA and a retired college professor.
Mrs. Loney was a graduate of Stanford University in Palo Alta, CA and received her PhD from the University of Illinois.  She served her internship at Langley Porter Hospital in San Francisco, CA and served as a professor for ten years at University of Iowa School of Medicine.  She later held the same position at State University of New York at Stony Brook.  She was a recognized authority in hyperactivity in children.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Dave Loney. Her mother LoRee Parker of AZ;  2 sons, Daniel (Cherylin) Loney of Los Angles, CA and Michael (Jen Halbert) Loney of Brooklyn, NY;  2 grandchildren Sophia and A.J. Loney;  a sister, Rene Roberts of CA.
Cremation Services were provided by Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick.  No services are planned.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
