Janet " Jill"  Wells Campbell, 76, resident of the Happy Ridge Community of Mason County passed away Wednesday February 10, 2016 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Mason County on July 1, 1939 daughter of the late Herbert Wells and Margaret Watson Wells Hornback.  She was a retired clerk at the G.C. Murphy Co. Jill was member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and she enjoyed cooking for family and friends, gardening and canning and was a friend to animals.  She was a 1957 graduate of May's Lick High School.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years George "Mook" Campbell.  A sister, Betty Cleaver of Lawrenceburg, KY ; two nephews, Erich and Lewis Cleaver; several cousins including Susan (Steve) Maynard, Allen (Mary) Campbell and Jack Campbell and her beloved dog Angel.
Services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Paul Hammond officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 P.M. until time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorials suggested to Bethel United Methodist Church C/O Larry Dillon 4115 KY 596 May's Lick, KY  41055.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
