MAYSVILLE…..Janette L. Turner, 68, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky.  She was born on May 18, 1956, in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Warner Ewing and Elizabeth Bolden Turner.

Janette grew up in Maysville, KY and graduated from Maysville High School in the class of 1975.  She will be remembered for her kind heart and feisty sense of humor.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Warner Ewing and Elizabeth Bolden Turner; sisters, Delores Turner, Sherri Turner, Carolyn Joyce Brooks, Betty Jo Turner, and twin sister, Jennifer Turner; brother, Charles Anthony Decembly.

Janette leaves behind her two daughters, LyDonna Turner and Kaneesha DeJanette; grandchildren, Rheuben Bluford, Kaylyn Smith, Arionna Gibson, Shawn Smith, Kayleona Bush, Johnna Bush, Adrianna Bush; great grandchildren, Mya Bluford, Alaya Wood; one sister, Christie Turner of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, Garry McClain, Jeff McClain; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and dear friends who will miss her beyond measure.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday June 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church 501 Forest Ave, Maysville, KY 41056 with Pastor Randy Taylor officiating the services.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.  Janette will be laid to rest next to her sister, Jennifer, in the Mayslick Cemetery.
