Jeffery "Jeff." W. Rudd, 39 of Ashland, died Monday, June 13, at his hom
He was born in Maysville on June 13, 1977, the son of Annette M. "Sissy" Rudd, also of Maysville.



He was a graduate of Montgomery County High School. As an All Star Basketball Player he took his team to win many titles. Jeff attended Athens Christian College and also graduated from Morehead State University. He graduated with a BS degree in Criminology and an Associate degree in Art. After school he worked very hard to provide not only for his family but also friends. Through his life he positively impacted many and through his death we will always remember that great smile and words of wisdom.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Annette "Sissy" Rudd.



Survivors include his daughter, Olivia M Rudd; and a stepson, Garrick Hopkins. His siblings include three sisters, Shanta Rudd of Lexington, Monique "Crys" Gerton of Paris, half-sister Shavon Brooks of Maysville; and one brother Alan Rudd of Lexington. He has four nieces, Alexandria Rudd, Antaesha Rudd, Savannah Wilson and Lyric Gerton; and one nephew Amere Rudd; his grandparents, Mary and James Rudd of Maysville; two special aunts, Tammy Rudd of Maysville and Evangelist Peggy Overly of Morehead; and special cousin, Jerry Gore of Maysville and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be Monday, 6 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in May's Lick with Pastor L. Rodney Bennett officiating.
