Jessie William “Billy” Campbell, 73, of May’s Lick, passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was born on May 17, 1952, in Mason County to the late Jessie Daniel Campbell and Rose Mary Phillips.

Billy worked on a farm for over 50 years doing manual labor. He demonstrated an exemplary work ethic and consistently provided care and support for numerous family members throughout his life. Billy was also devoted member of the Resolute Faith Church in Maysville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Campbell and Rose Phillips Campbell.

Billy is survived by his two sisters, Jeanie (Elmer) Arnold and Frances (Tracy) Helton; nephew Jimmy Wallingford; nieces, Jamie (Glenn) Toncray, Jessica Slone, several cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Billy also leaves behind a good friend, Charles E. Allison, whom he was employed by for many years.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Shannon Cemetery beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Paula Wilson officiating.
