Jewell Merrill Doyle, 90, of May's Lick passed away on Monday, September 25,2023 at Maysville Nursing & Rehab Facility.  Mrs. Doyle was born at Stonewall in Bracken County on June 25,1933 daughter of the late Archie & Leona Collins Merrill.  Jewell was a homemaker and a dedicated member of the Sardis United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  She was very active in the operation of the farm with her husband James S. Doyle, Jr. whose death occurred in 2009.  She was also preceded in death by her son Gregory Steven Doyle in 2004; two sisters Evalena White and Von Treva Polley; two brothers, R.C. Merrill, and Wendell Merrill.  Survivors include a brother Gary Merrill of Germantown and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, September 30,2023 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Dr. Mike Rice officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be Randy White, Troy White, Clay Barton, Doug Atherton, Trey Teague and Keith Stitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky White and Kristi Gifford.   Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M.
