MAYS LICK   Josephine Yancey, 96, of Lexington passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  She was a retired administrative assistant at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.
Miss Yancey was born in May's Lick on December 16, 1915 daughter of the late Hugh & Bessie Peed Yancey.  She was a graduate of Transylvania University and a member of May's Lick Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister Dorothy Yancey Sohl of Lexington and several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Hugh Yancey, Jr. and a sister Mary Yancey Claybrooke.
Graveside services 2 P.M. Friday, October 26, 2012 at May's Lick Cemetery with Rev.
