Joyce White Cooper, 82, of Sardis passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Mason County on January 8, 1934 daughter of the late Albert M. & Laura Wood White.  She was a former Deputy Matron Jailer of Robertson County and had worked at Maysville Nursing & Rehab and Robertson County Health Care Facility.  Mrs. Cooper loved life and family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She was a member of Seddon United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Eugene E. Cooper on May 4, 2010 and a brother Calvin White and a sister Katie Buck.  Survivors include 3 sons, Steven Cooper and Troy Cooper of Sardis and Michael Cooper of Seattle, WA.  A granddaughter, Macy Cooper and several nieces & nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Ray Snider officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Dick Clary, John R. Dodson, Wayne Buck, Tommy Mitchell, Jackie Mitchell and R.B.
