Judy Applegate Sweet, 64, of Maysville passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Zephyrhills Hospital in Zephyrhills, FL.

Judy was born in Lewis County on March 22, 1952 daughter of the late Fred & Mary Boling Applegate.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include two daughters, Christy (Mike) Moyer of Maysville and Jodi Wells of Augusta; four grandchildren, Saydie Graves, Peyton Moyer, Tyler Wells and Hali Wells; a former husband of 42 years, John W. Sweet, Jr.,; a sister, Eileen Bailey of Irvine, KY;   four brothers, Donald Applegate and Kenny Applegate both of Vanceburg; Bobby Applegate of Tollesboro, and Stanley Applegate of Cincinnati, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Timmy Sweet in 1986 and four sisters and six brothers.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 P.M. on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the May's Lick Lighthouse Church with the Pastor Danny Howard officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until the hour of the service Monday at the church.  The Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  Online condolence to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
