Karen Peterson Reed, 80, of May's Lick passed away on Monday, September 12,2022 at Meadowview Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Reed was born in Canonsburg, PA on May 31,1942 daughter of the late Clyde and Helen Brimner Peterson. She was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister and a member of the Presbyterian faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years on September 4, 2022.

Survivors include a daughter, Renee (Brian) Powell of Maysville; a sister Linda (David) Reed of May's Lick.

There will be no local services held.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Weirton, West Virginia.  Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.  Memorials suggested to May's Lick Volunteer Fire Department.  Condolences to palmerfuneralhome.net.
