Kimberly F. Mahaffey, 57, of Maysville passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at St Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  Kim was born in Maysville on January 28, 1965, daughter of Mattie Frances Kissick Sweet and the late Clyde A. Mahaffey.  She was a graduate of Mason County High School and an Honor graduate of Morehead State University.  Kim was a devout member of Highland Christian Church and the Mason County Homemakers where she served in many capacities.

Survivors other than her mother is three brothers, Michael Mahaffey (Brenda Fultz), Eddie (Marilyn) Sweet and Steve (Kathy) Sweet, several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather Charles Sweet and two brothers, Kevin and Jimmy Sweet.

Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Rev. Ben Stroup officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.  Visitation will be from Noon till 2 P.M.
