January 9, 1935 – March 13, 2019
Kizzie Lee Chambers, 84, of Maysville left this world on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Lexington to be with her heavenly Father.
Mrs. Chambers was born in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky on January 9, 1935 daughter of the late Charles & Lydia Anderson Williams. She was a retired School Bus Driver and Dietitian. Kizzie was a great matriarch of the family. She was loved by everyone and she loved everyone. She loved her family and nurtured many children, nieces and nephews. Kizzie was a great woman of faith that trusted in God. She was a determined woman who later in life pursued and obtained her GED, despite the obstacles of everyday living. She was a longtime member of Scott United Methodist Church. She loved to play bingo, loved to shop for antiques, enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing those numbers. She never met a stranger, people or animals. Holidays were a great joy to her because family and friends would gather there for good food and good times.
