Larry Gene Colemire, 76, of May's Lick passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home.  Larry was born in Maysville on January 3, 1946 son of the late Raymond & Emma Elizabeth Dodson Colemire. He was a graduate of Mason County High School and Morehead State University.  Larry was a farmer, a former teacher in the Robertson County School System and a former employee of Comprehend and Wal-Mart.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Cracraft Colemire; a son Kevin Colemire; six grandchildren, Corey Colemire, Brandon Colemire, William Colemire, Jacob Colemire, Gracie Colemire and Chassity Mae Colemire; two brothers, Johnny Colemire and Terry Colemire.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Greg Colemire; a granddaughter Brenna Colemire; and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday November 28,2022 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Bro John Ray Dodson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.   Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
