Loretta Sluss Davis, 68, of Alsip, Illinois and a native of Mason County died there on May 27, 2014.  She was retired from Illinois Bell and the widow of Fred Davis.
Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Adrain Harold and Mary Elizabeth Starrett Sluss and was born on December 15, 1945.  She was a member of Lee's Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include six sons, Gregory, Timothy, Harold, John, Demetrius (Cyndy) and Matthew; two daughters, Melissa (Jeff) Smith and Kristeena (Bassel) Haleem; 18 grandchildren, 6 great –grandchildren and a brother Adrian Lee Sluss of Dover.  A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Services will conducted at Noon on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Lee's Chapel Methodist Church in Lewisburg.  Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation 11 A.M.
