Louis C. Mitchell, 71 of May's Lick passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

Louis was born in Mason County on August 15, 1947 son of the late Walter C. & Dorothy Myers Mitchell.  He loved deer hunting and spending time with his family & friends.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Peggy Moran Mitchell; three daughters Tina Conn (Robert Hamm) of Morehead,  Brenda Fetters (Alex Hamilton) of Flemingsburg, and Linda Helphenstine  (Tommy Curtis) of Maysville, a son Louis T. Mitchell (Stacie) of Louisville, and seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Casey Fetters and two brothers, Willie & Freddie Mitchell.

Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Stoney Hamilton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation 1 P.M. until the hour of the service.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
