Louise D. Lowe, 82 of Lewisburg passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. She was a devoted homemaker and farm wife, was an avid gardener and quilter, and had formerly served as a 4-H Leader. She was born in Mason County on November 25, 1931 daughter of the late Roy & Maude Bare Dearing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lowe whose death occurred April 22, 1996, and a sister in law, Charlene Dearing and her grandson, Jacob Dials.
She is survived by her children; Peggy (Larry) Mason of Tollesboro, Kay (Mike) Hartley of Lewisburg, Donnie (Melissa) Lowe of Ewing, Ronnie (Tracey) Lowe of Lewisburg, Jerry (Jackie) Lowe of Lewisburg, and Diana (Matthew) Dials of Tilton, a brother, Bill Dearing of Maysville, 9 Grandchildren; Jamie (Katrina) Hartley, Mary Anne (Wade) Ramsey, Miranda (T.J.) Hanselman, Samantha Major, Bradley Lowe, Travis Lowe, Clint Lowe, Justin Dials, and Katelyn Dials, 5 great grandchildren; Jackson Lowe, Jillian Hanselman, Jade Hanselman, Wyatt Hartley and Sawyer Ramsey.
Services will be conducted at 1 pm, on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Rev. Charles Emmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery, serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, and special friend Allen Rankin. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
