Marce Dale Douglas, 73, of May's Lick passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at his home.  Marce was born in Maysville on November 24, 1948, son of the late Joseph Cook "J.C." & Pauline Doyle Douglas.  He had been employed by Green Tokia and Mann Chrysler and was a 20+ year employee of Columbia Gas and a member of Forman's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two daughters, Julie Burton of May's Lick and Joni Douglas of Mt. Olivet; three grandchildren Justin Corlis, Chase Burton and Reese Burton; one great grandchild, Braxton Burton; four sisters, LaVerne Taylor of Fruitland Park, FL, Anna Gayle Orme, Judy (Bobby) Walton and Connie Douglas all of Maysville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be conducted 12 Noon on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Shannon United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery with Military Rites conducted at the graveside.
