Margaret Adel Lawson, 83 of Maysville passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.  She was born on April 18, 1932 in Petersville, Kentucky to the late W. Edward & Jeanette Sellers Stacy.

Mrs. Lawson was a longtime member of the Mill Creek Christian Church where she had served on numerous committees.  She was a retired research assistant under Dr. Albert Sabin, and later enjoyed working as a nanny and caregiver.  She loved spending time on her farm, and with her horse, and was a NASCAR fan.  Among her other work and activities she was most delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her cherished family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Hord Lawson, two sisters, Helen & Elizabeth Stacy, four brothers; Nelson, Dudley, Estill & Fred Stacy.

She is survived by her children; Fred Lawson, of Fort Thomas, Joyce (Kenny) Creech, of Maysville, her granddaughter, Sherry Grayson (Andy) Baker, her grandson, Thomas (Callie) Grayson, eight great grandchildren; Craig & Ashley Fultz, Cameron, Brookelyn, Grant & Charles Grayson, and Miranda & Madison Baker, all of Indianapolis, IN and two brothers; Ted Stacy & Lee (Suzie) Stacy, both of Chandler, AZ.

A Memorial Service will conducted at 3 PM on Saturday, April 25, at the Mill Creek Christian Church with Bro. Martin Voiers & Bro. Tony Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 2 – 3 PM, Saturday at the Church.
