Margaret Tolle Dotson, 81, of Mt. Olivet went to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday November 17, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  She was a homemaker and a former employee of Jockey International.
Mrs. Dotson was born in Mason County on June 27, 1933 daughter of the late Lida Howard Tolle & George William Tolle Sr.  She was a lifelong member of Shannon United Methodist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher for 30 years and active in the UMW.  She was active in the church until her health complications kept her for doing so.  Her favorite places to go were church and the UMW meetings.  She was honored as a Kentucky Colonel.  She loved keeping up with family & friends & enjoyed visiting with loved ones.
Survivors include her husband of  sixty six years Ruben Dotson; a son Mike (Susan) Dotson and a daughter Sharon (Dwaine) Miller both of Robertson Co.; three grandchildren, Timothy Miller of Mt. Olivet and Kevin Dotson and Lora Unthank of Robertson Co.; four great-grandchildren Titus Miller; Andrew & Rachel Unthank and Eli Dotson; two sisters Gladys (Grover) Green of Maysville and Katie Richardson of Deer Park,  OH;  wonderful nieces & nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters,  Mabel Tolle, Mildred Loper, Mattie Dotson, and Katherine Dryden;  two brothers, George William Tolle, Jr. and Darrell Tolle.
Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Shannon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Finch and Rev. E. Ray Throckmorton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be  Timothy Miller, Kevin Dotson, Charlie Tolle, Steve Richardson, John Thomas, Jimmy Jolley, Andrew Unthank and Eli Dotson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Clary, Scott Clary, Charles Boyd II,  Mike McHaffey, Randy Woods and Jeff Thomas.  Visitation 5-8 P.M. Thursday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick is serving the family.  Memorials suggested to Shannon United Methodist Church.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net
