Mary Elizabeth Clay, 67, of  Cynthiana and formerly of Maysville passed away Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.  She was retired from GT&E and farming.
Miss Clay was born in Maysville on August 24, 1946 daughter of the late William Junius & Minnie Dee Morgan Clay.  She was a member of Seventh St. Christian Church in Paris.
Survivors include a brother James (Darlene) Clay of Maysville  and  a sister Shirley Clay of Cincinnati.  Three nephews, Jerome (Amber) Turner, Jimmy (Millie) Clay and Eric Clay; five nieces, Erica (Geno) Porter, Stephanie (Francisco) Hernandez, Tasha Lang, Rachel Boyd and Tiya Turner and a special friend Mary Rudd.  She was preceded in death by a brother William Junius "Jay" Clay and a sister Emogene Boyd and a nephew James "Boo Boo" Clay.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Christopher Lee, Rev. Randy Taylor and William Garr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation 11 A.M.
