Melanie J. Roberson, 64, of Lexington and formerly of Mason County passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Northpoint Health Care in Lexington.
Melanie was born in Maysville on October 11, 1950 daughter of the late Robert Humphries and Edwina Donaldson Planck.  She was a retired administrative assistant in the Mason County School System and a member of New Hope Christian Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts and spending time with her granddaughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Camilla Ann Roberson of Lexington; a granddaughter River Leigh Turner; and a sister Ginger Teegarden of Maysville.
Memorial service will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2015 at  New Hope Christian Church in Maysville with Pastor Kirk Rolph officiating.  Memorials suggested to Woodford Humane Society, 265 Thomas Lane, Versailles,  KY  40383.
