MANCHESTER, OH…. Micheal "Andy" Andrew Ashcraft Jr., 49, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Andy was born on July 24, 1975, to Michael Andrew Ashcraft Sr. and the late Julie Ann Taylor. He was originally raised on a farm in Robertson County and later moved to Mason County, where he continued farming alongside his dad, uncle David, and brothers. He found great joy in farming and felt most content when he was on the farm.
At Mason County High School, Andy played football and ran track, nurturing his love for sports. He was an ardent fan of watching the Kentucky Wildcats play ball and his Dallas Cowboys. Andy married his beloved wife, Angela, in 1999. Their love for one another is forever.
Andy was employed in Track maintenance at Belterra Park following his love for farming and animals.
Andy was an avid hunter, he could often be found on the family farm, enjoying the outdoors and hunting with his brothers.
Andy had a vibrant spirit and a gift for making friends with everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, who cherished his infectious cheerfulness, tireless energy, and compassionate heart.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Julie A. Taylor Ashcraft; uncle, David Ashcraft; grandparents, Robert Sydney and Nancy Jean Ashcraft and Hilary and Mildred Lee Pelfrey Taylor.
Andy is survived by his loving wife, Angela Provenzano Ashcraft; father, Michael Ashcraft Sr. (Patricia Vice Ashcraft); brothers, Lee Taylor Ashcraft (Susan Grayson Ashcraft); Jonathon Aaron Ashcraft (Erin DeVaughn Ashcraft); two step-brothers, Robert Harley De Vaughn, Trevor Fitzwater; four nephews, Zacary Taylor Ashcraft, Beau Grayson Ashcraft, Joseph Aedan Ashcraft, Kasen Strange; one niece, Julie Sue Ashcraft; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, extended family and many friends.
Andy loved all his family and treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.
A memorial service in celebration of Andy's life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Milford Christian Church 7089 Neave Milford Rd Brooksville, KY 41004, at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation prior from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Andy's name to Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory to assist with final expenses.
