Patricia Ann Deal Collins, 88, of Florence, KY passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Wheelwright Kentucky on September 12, 1936, to the late Kenneth and Launa Luttrell Deal.

Pat was a graduate of Wheelwright High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Upon graduating from EKU, she was employed at Square D Company in Lexington until changing professions to being a stay-at-home mom, where she did her best raising four children. She volunteered at church, school, nursing home and on many occasions, she hosted family, friends, and international guests in her home. Pat also worked at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence and was a member at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Union.

Pat is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 65 years, Paul G. Collins; children, Carol (Phillip) Leedy, Paul (Elizabeth) Collins Jr., Kenneth (Deborah) Collins, Sarah Evans; grandchildren, Meghann Leedy, Mason (Caroline) Collins, Geneva (Andrew) Hall, Benjamin Sasser, Derek Collins, Alex Collins, Amanda Collins, Taylor Evans, Jayden Evans; great grandchildren, James Collins, Samuel Collins; Sisters, Mary Shockley and Gwynne (George) Katzenbach, special nephew Ken Bartuka, and a host of extended family and  dear friends.

Preceding her in death are her sisters, Marlene Bartuka, Nancy Hunter; brothers in law, Richard Shockley, Harry Bartuka, Rodney Hunter and one daughter in law, Susan White Collins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, May's Lick, KY at 10 A.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with Rev. Phil DeVous celebrating. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the church. Pat will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maysville, KY.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Pat's name to St. Timothy Catholic School 10268 US-42, Union, KY 41091.
