Paul Duane Stitt, 69, of May’s Lick, passed away, Monday, October 5, 2026, at his home.

Paul was born on July 29, 1957, in Maysville, to the late Paul W. Stitt and the late Ivy Ruth Ginn Stitt.

Paul was a lifelong farmer who over the years raised beef cattle, tobacco, row crops and ran a dairy. He loved to be outside with his cattle, working in his garden and spending time with his family.

Paul is survived by his wife of 25 years Deborah Stitt; his children Tanisha Stitt; brother Allen (Missy) Stitt; stepchildren Tiffany (Josh) Barnes and Christa Tate (Angelia Dolejs); grandchildren Dylan Eslinger, Issac Young and Emily Grace Love; niece Brandi Stitt; his dog Remy; along with extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ivy Ruth.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026, at Palmer Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Howard officiating.

Paul will be laid to rest in Shannon Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the hour of service at Palmer Funeral Home (5043 Main St. May’s Lick, KY 41055).
