MAY'S LICK   Alta Pauline Cracraft, 90, former resident of the Shannon Community died July 23, 2010 at Ohio Valley Manor where she had been a resident for several years.  She was the widow of Harold Cracraft.
Pauline was born in Maysville on November 30, 1919.
Survivors include her son Darrell (Huck) Cracraft and daughter-in-law, Tilda Burns Cracraft and a sister Gladys Cracraft all of Maysville.
Pauline loved serving her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.  She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of the Shannon United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years.
One of Pauline's pleasures in life were the many friends she made during the years she operated Cracraft's Grocery in Slip-Up.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing & doing for others.
A special heartfelt thank you to her caregivers at Ohio Valley Manor.  The care and love you showed to Pauline during her stay was much appreciated.  A special thanks to Pauline's special friend Elaine Burns for her many faithful visits.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Shannon United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Finch and Rev. Danny Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation 6-8 P.M.
