Peggy A. Moran, 78, of the Murphysville community passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at The Care Center at Kenton Pointe.
Mrs. Moran was born in Nicholas County on January 20, 1938 daughter of the late Mason & Edith Lawrence Bryant.  She was a member of the Shannon United Methodist Church and the Farmerettes Homemakers.  She was a kind and gentle woman and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years Billy Ray Moran; a daughter Amanda (John) Little of Fleming County and a son Rockwell "Rocky" (Shelly) Moran of Maysville; 5 grandchildren, Rusty Moran, Erin Moran, Darrian Little, Draven Little and Taylor Little; a brother Lonny (Cynthia) Bryant of Carlisle.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Monday February 29, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home In May's Lick with Rev. Paul Hammond officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Archie Rose, Larry Fulton, Jim Hazelbaker, Rusty Moran, John Little and  Rocky Moran .
