Peggy Moran Mitchell, 79, of May's Lick passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Fleming County Hospital. Peggy was born in Mason County on February 25,1943 daughter of the late Harold & Ruby Cooper Moran.  She was a retired employee of Emerson Power Transmission and an avid UK basketball fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Fetters ( Alex Hamilton) of Fleming County and Linda Helphinstine (Tommy Curtis) Maysville; Louis Todd Mitchell (Stacy) of Louisville; eight grandchildren; Cody Fetters, Corey & Angel Curtis, Shannon, Alex and Noah Hamilton, Shania Kirk and Hailey Mitchell; nine great grandchildren; Skylar, Xzavur, Evan, Raelynn Hamilton, Landen, Kennedy and Brylee Fetters and Layton" Bug" Studebaker; two sisters, Pat Campbell (Joe). Linda McDonald (Kenneth) and Eddie Moran (Denie); a special great-great nephew, Parker Bowles.  He was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis C. Mitchell; grandson Casey Fetters; a brother Roger "Tiny" Moran; and a sister Bonnie Moran.

Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday October 18, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in May's Lick with Stoney Hamilton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Visitation 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
