Phyllis Beard Woodward, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at her residence in Lexington, KY.  Phyllis was born in Taylor County, KY on August 13, 1930, to the late Charles Ray and Gae Pyle Beard. She was a retired elementary school teacher in Ohio and the widow of Charles E. Woodward whose death occurred on September 5, 1995.  She was a member of the Helena United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind her sister and friend, Patty Gabbard Gibson; stepson, Robbie Prewitt; nephews, Robert Gabbard (Gayle), Charles K. Gabbard (Deborah).
