FLEMINGSBURG   Richard M. "Rick" Schatz, 60 of Flemingsburg died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home.

Rick was born in West Palm Beach, FL on March 25, 1958 son of the late Leonard & Edith Layman Schatz.  He was an avid restorer of older homes.

Survivors include his wife Susan Sapp Schatz; a daughter Kimberly Schatz and a son John Schatz of Flemingsburg; a sister Amanda Gail Solomon; four grandchildren, Paisley & Darius Schatz and Edie & Michael Strohofer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Kimberly Ann Schatz and a brother, Kenny Schatz.
