Rickey Allen Wilson, 66, of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Mercy Health Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on May 5, 1959, in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Glenn and Helen Lee Wilson.

Rickey had a gift of talking to people, regardless of whether he knew them or not. His personality was warm, outgoing, and he could instantly make a connection with anyone. Rickey was a committed enthusiast of NASCAR racing, diligently observing each lap with great attention. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, RC cars, and most of all, family get togethers where they shared laughter and stories. Rickey had a continuous and solid passion for all animals and was a proud gun collector. He worked for Wald, LLC for over thirty years before he retired. Rickey will be remembered for his delightful, friendly voice, his great charisma, and his ability to foster connections that brought warmth and friendship to all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn, and Helen Wilson, and one nephew, Duane Whaley.

Rickey will be sadly missed by his sister, Janet Whaley; nieces, Shasta (Michael) Hamm, Annette Whaley; nephews, Tony and Timmy Whaley; great nephew, Jackson Whaley; great nieces, Shana (James) Morrison, Maddie Whaley; great- great niece, Shaylynn Morrison; great-great nephew, Archie Morrison, and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
