Rodney Jeffrey "B.T." Kirk, 29 of Maysville died on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born in Maysville on August 15, 1985 son of Frances Kirk and Rodney Commodore both of Maysville. He was employed by Clopay in Augusta and was a 2003 graduate on Mason County High School and Maysville Community and Technical College and was pursuing additional education in Computer Technology. He was full of life, laughter and had a kind and warm spirit. He was loved by many and in addition to his parents he leaves to cherish his memories a fiancé Amber Marie Huddleston of Maysville. A maternal grandmother, Beulah (Walter) Jackson of Flemingsburg; a paternal grandmother, Dorothy Commodore of Maysville; a sister Camryn Cole and two brothers, Randy Kirk and Kadeem Commodore all of Maysville; three aunts, Donna (James) Burns, Bonita Payne of Columbus, OH and Donna (Kenneth) Williams; two uncles, Douglas Commodore and J.C. Commodore, Jr.; nephews Marquise, Kingston and Kashious Kirk. Special friends of the family Ed Wiget, Rex Cooper and Pauline Grandison and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John (E.K.) Kirk and uncles Dale Kirk and John Kirk, Jr.; and paternal grandfather James (Peter) Commodore, Sr.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2015 at Scott United Methodist Church with Rev. James Turley officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.
