Ronald "Ron" Washington, 74, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Maysville. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on June 4, 1951, to the late Donald and Mattie Donaldson Washington.
Ron worked hard and was always a devoted provider for his family. His consistent dedication to his work and unwavering kindness towards others left a meaningful impact. Warm-hearted and welcoming, he always greeted everyone with friendliness and made himself easy to approach. Ron was an avid University of Kentucky wildcats' basketball fan and had a unique collection of Hot Wheels cars. He enjoyed countless hours playing his Tiger Wood's golf game and spending time with his family and friends. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Donald, and Mattie Washington; brother, Johnny Washington; sister, Darla Johnson; his stepson, Nathaniel Crump and his grandson, Adrian Chenault.
Left here to carry on his loving legacy are his lifelong partner and best friend, Angela Crump; children, Rodney (Kia) Washington, Dawn "Nikki" Washington, LaRon Washington, Madena (Tavares) Butler, Dustin Washington, Trey (Madi Baxter) Crump; brothers, Charles "Eddie" Washington, Keith Washington, Wayne Washington; sister, Vicki (Greg) Henry and a large host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he adored, and several nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Ron also leaves behind his lifelong friend, Bobby Walton.
Family and friends will celebrate and honor Ron's life with a homegoing service on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church 501 Forest Ave, Maysville, KY with Rev. Terence Taylor officiating. In honor of Ron's service to the United States Army, miliary honors will be rendered.
