RONALD H. "RONNIE" GIFFORD, 63, of Mt. Olivet and formerly of Sardis passed
away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at his home.  He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Sardis Christian Church.  Ronnie was born in Mason County on Jan. 9, 1947 son of the late Raymond H. "Joe" Gifford and Ethella Buckler Moran. Survivors include 3 sisters, Brenda (Arnold) Stitt of Sardis. Joyce (Jimmy) Thackson of Washington and Glenda Curtis of Sardis.  Several nieces & nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.  She was preceded in death by a sister Diana Stitt.  Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Bro. John R. Dodson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.  Active pallbeaers will be Rhonda Six, Bear Linville, Ronnie Burns, Keith, Lenny and Bradley Stitt.  Honorary pallbeaers will be Harley Estep, Steve Maynard, Rodney Cracraft and Brian Stitt.  Visitation 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. Sat. April 24th.  Memorials suggested to American Cancer Soceity.
