Ronald M. Wulfekamp, 82, of May's Lick, Kentucky, passed away at the Lexington VA Medical Center Leestown Hospice on Sunday, August 6, 2017. He was born July 21, 1935 in Cincinnati to the late Robert and Virginia (Burkart) Wulfekamp. He married Juanita Ashcraft on December 23, 1955.

Ron is survived by his wife of sixty-one years with whom he leaves the legacy of four children, Yvonne (David) Lindsay of Union, Kentucky; Doug (Cindy) Wulfekamp of Washington, Kentucky; Lori (Doug) Heimerdinger of Union, Kentucky and Greg Wulfekamp of May's Lick, Kentucky. He most enjoyed sharing in the lives of his four grandchildren, Shelbie Wulfekamp of Lexington, Kentucky; David Heimerdinger of Union, Kentucky; Kara Lindsay of Union, Kentucky and Daniel Heimerdinger of Union, Kentucky. Ron is survived by his brother, Dennis, and was preceded in death by his sister, Janice W. Fleckinstine and brother, Melvin R. Wulfekamp.

Ron was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Purina Mills. He was a member of the May's Lick Christian Church and enjoyed his many years as Treasurer of the May's Lick Lions Club, membership with the DeKalb Lodge and the Mason County Men's Club. He especially looked forward to his morning breakfasts at the Maysville McDonalds with his friends.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, August 12, 1PM-5PM at the May's Lick Community Building, 5003 Raymond Road, May's Lick, Kentucky 41055. Burial will take place in a private family ceremony.
