MAYSVILLE  Rosa M. Brooks, 71, of Cincinnati passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at her home. She was a retired beautician and the widow of Thomas E. Brooks.
She was  born in Maysville July 25, 1941 the daughter of the late Pauline Veal Humphrey & Joseph William Humphrey Sr.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Evonda Breckenridge Norris and April Brooks of Cincinnati and a foster sister Judy Chambers Thompson of Columbus.  She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers; Charles, Robert and Joseph William Humphrey, Jr.; and a sister Elizabeth Williams.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, August 11 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher Lee officiating.  Visitation Noon until 1 P.M. at the church.  Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.  Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick is serving the family.  www.palmerfuneralhome.net
