Ross Edward Welch, 67,  passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Fleming County Hospital. He was born on November 10, 1956, to the late Ross and Nora Lavada Welch in Anderson, Indiana.

Ross worked for Nestle for several years before he retired.  He was a family man who adored his children, grandchildren, and great grand children with all his heart.  Ross enjoyed spending time with them, watching old movies, and being outside where he could pick walnuts. He could always make you laugh and was the biggest jokester of all.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Ross and Nora Welch; one brother and one sister.

Ross leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Debbie Kirker Welch; children, Geneva Dotson, John Sartin Jr., Beverly McClanhan; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great aunt, Lucinda Welch and many friends. Ross also leaves behind his two dogs, Jackie and Bella who were his companions.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday July 26, 2024 at Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory in Mayslick, Kentucky from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
