Ruby Rose Sweet Brown, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Gahanna Ohio.  She was born on October 13, 1933, in Springdale, KY to the late Ethel and Duke Sweet.

Ruby is preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Brown of Lawton, OK and son, Ervin Allen of Brooksville, KY; sisters, Fay Boggs, May Askins, Helen Askins and two brothers, Larry Sweet and Dukey Sweet.

She leaves behind her two sons, Paul Allen of Gahanna, OH and Danny (Melanie) Allen of Mt. Olivet, KY; former husband and friend, Henry Brown; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.  Ruby will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

Ruby will be laid to rest in the Bracken Memorial Cemetery.  Services will be held at the convenience of her family. Palmer Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
