Ruth Ellen Wheeler Riggs passed away on June 2, 2023, at the Meadowview Regional Medical Facility.  Ruth was born on January 16, 1955, in Maysville, daughter of the late James M. & Lillie Campbell Wheeler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings: Phyllis Wise, James A. Wheeler, Joyce Conley, Janice Cooper, Joan Hoskins & Evelyn McKay.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Ronnie A. Riggs, her son, Michael (Laura) Wheeler, and two grandchildren, Damion & Caleb Wheeler and her sister, Darlene Brown.
