Scotty Wayne Carpenter, 64, passed away on, Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at St Elizabeth Edgewood after a brief illness.

Born in Mason County on February 17, 1962, Scotty was the son of the late Bobby Carpenter and Jackie Johnson Carpenter of Dover.

Scotty had worked for Bulk Transit and was a farmer.

Scotty is survived by his mother Jackie; brothers Mark (Debbie) Carpenter, Robin (Pam) Carpenter, Monti Carpenter; along with nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; along with extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Carpenter.

At Scotty’s request all services will be private, and he will be laid to rest at Maysville Cemetery beside his father Bobby.
