Shawn Allen Wallingford, 39, of Edgewood, formerly of Maysville, died unexpectedly Thursday.
Shawn was born in Maysville on March 25, 1976 son of Connie Wilson (Denny) McDowell and Ron (Carla) Wallingford.  He was a graduate of Mason County High School and a member of Lewisburg Baptist Church and was an employee of Quest Mark.
Surviving other than his parents are a son, Camaron Wallingford and a daughter Cadence Wallingford.  A maternal grandmother, Audrey B. Wilson; three sisters, Sheila Williams, Breann Wallingford, Tonya Burton and four brothers, Kyle McDowell, Denny McDowell Jr., Carl Wells and Shawn A. Wells.  Also surviving is his girlfriend, Kelsey Kjelby and also several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Allen Wilson, paternal grandfather, Eugene Wallingford; paternal grandmother, Beulah Wallingford; an aunt Linda Collier and a cousin Tarra Spencer.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Tuesday, March, 15, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home in May's Lick with Bro. Harry Brooks officiating.  Burial will follow in the May's Lick Cemetery.  Active Pallbearers will be Michael Spencer, Denny McDowell, Jr., Travis and Jarrod Pence, Carl Wells and Eric Barrett.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Carey Stamper, Shawn Wells, Kyle and Dustin  McDowell.  Visitation will be 11 A.M. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
