Shelby Eugene Brinson, Sr. 73 of May's Lick, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at his residence.  He was born in McClellanville, South Carolina on December 13, 1942 son of the late Benjamin Howard and Ethel Mae Sutton Brinson.  He was a retired crane operator and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife Mary Riggs Brinson; 2 sons, Stephen Wade Brinson and Shelby E. Brinson, Jr.; and a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Driver; all of FL.   2 step-children, James Bennie Brinson III and Brandi Renea Brinson; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Benjamin Howard Brinson and 5 brothers and a sister.
Services will be held at a later date in South Carolina.  Cremation services were provided by Palmer Funeral Home of May's Lick.  Condolences to www.palmerfuneralhome.net.
