Steven Wayne Cooper, 68, of Sardis passed away on Thursday, August 18, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital & Respiratory Care Center.  He was born in Maysville on December 27, 1953, son of the late Eugene E. & Joyce White Cooper.  He was a graduate of Mason County High School.  Steven was a member of Seddon United Methodist Church and attended Maysville Community Lighthouse Church.

He is survived by two brothers, Troy Cooper of Carlisle and Michael Cooper of Seattle, Washington.  A niece, Macy Cooper and several cousins also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev. Ray Snider and Rev. Bill Henry officiating.  Memorials suggested to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
